Disneyland Resort is getting a full Halloween transformation in 2026, bringing seasonal decorations, spooky attraction overlays, special entertainment, themed food, merchandise and the return of fan-favourite events. Halloween Time runs from 21st August to 31st October 2026, while Plaza de la Familia continues through 2nd November.
When to visit
The main Halloween season begins on 21st August 2026, giving guests more than two months to experience the autumn atmosphere. If you want the biggest Halloween build-up, visiting from late September through October usually gives you the full seasonal feel, with decorations, food and entertainment all running.
For a quieter experience, consider earlier in the season. Halloween celebrations start in August, so you can enjoy the décor and seasonal attractions before the busiest October dates arrive.
Halloween Time at Disneyland Park
Disneyland Park becomes the centre of classic Disney Halloween magic.

A major highlight is “Halloween Screams”, the nighttime spectacular featuring spooky projections and fireworks on select nights.

Seasonal food and drinks
Halloween treats appear across the resort, including spooky snacks, desserts and themed drinks. 2026 highlights include items such as the Oogie Boogie Lemonade at Smokejumpers Grill and Heatwave Pizza at Alien Pizza Planet.
A good strategy is to check menus before your visit and make a list of must-try items, because seasonal food is often limited-time.
Merchandise
Halloween merchandise returns with seasonal collections including:
• Mickey Mouse Family Halloween

Expect Halloween-themed clothing, accessories, ears and collectibles.
