Disneyland Paris is taking its Christmas celebrations into a whole new world this winter, with the magic of the festive season set to reach World of Frozen for the very first time.

From 7th November 2026 until 6th January 2027, Disney Enchanted Christmas will be celebrated across both Disneyland Paris parks, combining the much-loved traditions of Disneyland Park with a brand-new festive experience in Arendelle at Disney Adventure World.

The announcement marks an important moment for Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris. Only months after its inauguration, World of Frozen will experience its first winter season, transforming the kingdom of Arendelle with Nordic-inspired Christmas decorations, seasonal entertainment, festive food and new opportunities to meet Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff.

Christmas arrives in Arendelle

The biggest addition to this year’s festive season will undoubtedly be the transformation of World of Frozen.

For the first time, visitors will be able to experience Arendelle during Christmas, with the village decorated in a style inspired by Scandinavian festive traditions. Traditional Nordic craftsmanship will influence the decorations, while a Christmas tree will welcome guests at the entrance to World of Frozen.

The result is intended to make Arendelle feel as though it has stepped into its own winter celebration, with the colourful village, surrounding landscapes and snow-covered North Mountain providing the backdrop. At the centre of the festivities will be Anna, Elsa and Olaf, who will welcome visitors throughout the season. Kristoff will also make appearances in Arendelle, marking the first time he will meet guests in World of Frozen.

The seasonal atmosphere will not simply be limited to decorations, either. Music and live entertainment will bring the village to life throughout the day.

New festive entertainment inspired by Frozen

One of the new experiences will be The Arendelle Carolers, a roughly 15-minute musical celebration featuring Olaf and a Christmas choir.

The performance will take place several times a day at the foot of North Mountain, before Anna and Elsa join the celebration. Songs from the Disney animated short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, including “Ring in the Season” and “When We’re Together”, will feature as part of the experience.

Adding another layer of seasonal magic, snow will fall over the village during the celebration, creating what promises to be one of the most atmospheric Christmas moments in the park. There will also be Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa, a shorter seven-minute celebration taking place at Arendelle Bay several times throughout the day, including during the late afternoon.

With Anna and Elsa appearing in new winter outfits, the experience will give visitors another opportunity to see the Frozen characters within their own immersive environment.

Disneyland Park keeps its classic Christmas traditions

While World of Frozen is receiving a brand-new Christmas experience, Disneyland Park will continue with the traditions that have helped make Christmas at Disneyland Paris such a popular part of the year.

Main Street, U.S.A. will once again be transformed for the festive season, with decorations, lights and the park’s enormous 24-metre Christmas tree creating the familiar Disneyland Christmas atmosphere.

Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade will also return, bringing Mickey Mouse and Friends, Disney Princesses and other Disney Characters through the park in festive costumes. The floats will be illuminated by thousands of lights as they travel through Main Street, U.S.A.

The parade has become one of the signature elements of the Disneyland Paris Christmas season and was previously recognised by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions with its 2022 Brass Ring Award for “Most Creative Christmas/Holiday Show”.

There will also be a new musical celebration featuring Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus at Castle Stage, alongside the return of Let’s Sing Christmas! at Videopolis Theatre.

That show will feature Mickey, Minnie and their friends performing festive favourites including “Little Santa Claus” and “Jingle Bells”, giving visitors another chance to get involved with the Christmas celebrations.

More Disney Characters and festive encounters

Character experiences will form another major part of the 2026 Christmas season.

Across Disneyland Park, visitors will have opportunities to encounter characters including Stitch in his Christmas outfit, Jack Skellington and Disney Princesses, while Mickey Mouse and his friends will appear in festive entertainment. Santa Claus will also return, with his new home located within Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A.

Over in World of Frozen, Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff will form the centrepiece of the new seasonal character experiences. For families visiting specifically to meet characters, Disneyland Paris advises guests to check the Disneyland Paris mobile app and information displayed within the parks, as character appearances cannot be guaranteed.

Christmas flavours arrive across the resort

The festive experience will extend beyond the entertainment and decorations.

Disneyland Paris will introduce seasonal food and drink across its restaurants and Gourmet Chalets, with World of Frozen also receiving its own winter dining offering.

The food in Arendelle will draw inspiration from the flavours of the Far North, complementing the Scandinavian influence running throughout the Christmas transformation. Visitors will also be able to explore Arendelle Boutique, which will feature World of Frozen merchandise alongside items inspired by Scandinavian craftsmanship.

The wider resort will also embrace the season, including the Disneyland Hotel, where guests can combine their Christmas visit with a more elaborate Disney-inspired hotel experience.

Two parks, two very different Christmas experiences

Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the 2026 season is that Disneyland Paris will effectively offer two distinct festive worlds.

At Disneyland Park, Christmas will retain the traditional Disney feel, with Main Street, U.S.A., the enormous Christmas tree, Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, festive character appearances and seasonal entertainment.

At Disney Adventure World, meanwhile, visitors will be able to experience Christmas through the world of Frozen, surrounded by Arendelle’s Nordic-inspired architecture and landscapes.

This gives guests a reason to explore both parks during the festive season rather than concentrating their Christmas visit solely on Disneyland Park. Disneyland Paris itself recommends at least two days for a first visit during the Christmas season, allowing visitors to experience both parks and the seasonal entertainment across them.

New Year’s Eve gets a Frozen twist

The Christmas celebrations will culminate with two separate New Year’s Eve parties on 31st December.

At Disney Adventure World, celebrations will take place across the park’s different worlds before a nighttime drones and fireworks show takes place above World of Frozen. The show will be themed around Frozen and the other worlds found within Disney Adventure World, creating a particularly fitting finale to the park’s first Christmas season. Drones will be subject to suitable weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Disneyland Park will host its own New Year’s Eve celebrations, including DJ parties featuring Disney Characters before a special fireworks display illuminates the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle at midnight.

For visitors spending New Year’s Eve at Disneyland Paris, this means there will be two completely different ways to welcome 2027.

A major new chapter for Christmas at Disneyland Paris

The introduction of Christmas to World of Frozen represents more than simply adding seasonal decorations to another area of Disneyland Paris.

It gives Disney Adventure World its own festive identity and expands the resort’s Christmas offering across two parks.

For Frozen fans in particular, the opportunity to see Arendelle decorated for Christmas, experience snowfall in the village, watch Anna and Elsa in new winter outfits and see Kristoff meeting guests within World of Frozen makes this year’s season particularly significant.

At the same time, Disneyland Park will continue to provide the traditional Christmas atmosphere that visitors have come to expect, ensuring that the new Frozen celebrations complement rather than replace the established Disneyland Paris festive experience.

Disney Enchanted Christmas 2026 will run from 7th November 2026 to 6th January 2027, with the Christmas programme and New Year’s Eve celebrations included with admission to the parks.

After years of Christmas magic being centred primarily around Disneyland Park, this winter will see the celebration expand into Arendelle for the first time. And with World of Frozen still being relatively new to Disneyland Paris, its first Christmas could become one of the standout moments of the resort’s 2026 festive season.
