Universal is bringing one of rock music’s most legendary figures to life in a brand-new way as Ozzy Osbourne becomes the focus of a haunted house experience at Halloween Horror Nights 2026. Titled “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” the attraction will celebrate the career, music and unforgettable imagery of the heavy metal icon at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The announcement adds another major name to the growing Halloween Horror Nights 2026 lineup, which is already set to feature several high-profile properties including Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, Sinners and Stranger Things.
A tribute to the Prince of Darkness
Developed as a “living horror movie” inspired by Osbourne’s career, the haunted house will take guests through decades of the singer’s solo work, combining his dark theatrical style with the immersive storytelling that Halloween Horror Nights is known for.
The experience will explore different eras of Ozzy’s solo career, drawing inspiration from iconic albums including The Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, No More Tears, Scream and Ordinary Man. Guests will encounter worlds inspired by the imagery, characters and themes that helped define Osbourne’s reputation as one of rock’s most distinctive performers.
Rather than simply recreating moments from Osbourne’s life, Universal is approaching the attraction as a journey through his imagination, blending music, horror and fantasy into a unique Halloween Horror Nights experience.
Two different experiences on both coasts
While both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood will feature “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” each version will offer its own interpretation of the rock legend’s legacy.
The Hollywood version will take guests through a journey inspired by Osbourne’s entire solo discography, using his music as the soundtrack to a twisted trip through his creative universe. The Orlando version will focus more heavily on his later solo career, featuring environments inspired by his darker aesthetic, including dungeons, ancient ruins and other supernatural settings.
Fans can also expect plenty of references and hidden details throughout the attraction, with Universal incorporating elements designed to reward longtime followers of Osbourne’s work.
Created with the Osbourne family
The project has been developed with the involvement and support of Ozzy Osbourne’s family, including his wife Sharon Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne. The family praised Universal’s approach in bringing the musician’s personality, creativity and sense of spectacle into the Halloween Horror Nights format.
The attraction serves as a celebration of Osbourne’s decades-long influence on music and popular culture, transforming his larger-than-life stage persona into an immersive horror experience.
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 continues to expand
The addition of “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” strengthens what is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Halloween Horror Nights lineups yet. The 2026 event marks the 35th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights and will feature a mix of original concepts and major entertainment franchises.
Other announced houses include the return of Stranger Things, a terrifying journey into the world of Sinners, the Cenobite-filled nightmare of Hellraiser and the Deadite chaos of Evil Dead Burn.
“Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” will give fans the opportunity to experience the music legend’s career from an entirely new perspective, merging heavy metal history with Universal’s signature horror storytelling. For Halloween Horror Nights fans, it promises to be one of the most unusual and unexpected haunted houses in the event’s history.
