Disney Cruise Line has officially confirmed that fans won’t have to wait much longer to learn more about its newest ship, the Disney Believe.

In a surprise announcement shared on the Disney Cruise Line Instagram account today, the company revealed that a special livestream will take place on 7th October, giving guests their first in-depth look at the fourth Wish-class vessel. The teaser, released around four hours ago, simply asks one question: “Do you believe?” before inviting fans to tune in for what promises to be the ship’s biggest reveal yet.

Although Disney has not confirmed exactly what will be unveiled during the livestream, previous reveal events for the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny have showcased everything from the Grand Hall, dining venues and lounges to Broadway-style entertainment, youth spaces and signature onboard experiences. That has many fans expecting a similarly comprehensive presentation this October.

The announcement video also offers a glimpse at several beloved Disney and Pixar franchises that could play a role aboard the new ship. Characters and worlds from Inside Out, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Monsters, Inc., Tangled, Frozen, Encanto, Moana, Snow White and The Little Mermaid all make appearances throughout the teaser, fuelling speculation about future attractions, entertainment and themed spaces. However, Disney has not confirmed how, or if, each of these properties will be represented onboard.

Disney Believe was first announced earlier this year as the fourth ship in the highly successful Wish class. The vessel is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, and is scheduled to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet in 2027. Disney has described the ship as being inspired by “promise, possibility and what lies beyond the horizon,” suggesting a theme centred around optimism, dreams and believing in yourself.

The livestream announcement also comes with a special surprise for guests already sailing. Passengers aboard the Disney Wish’s 5th October voyage will enjoy an exclusive one-night-only performance inspired by Disney Believe on 7th October, featuring Disney Legend Susan Egan, adding another layer of excitement to the celebration.

With Disney Cruise Line continuing its rapid expansion, anticipation for Disney Believe has been steadily building since its name reveal earlier this year. The October livestream is expected to answer many of the questions fans have been asking, including the ship’s signature venues, entertainment lineup, dining concepts and the identity of its Grand Hall icon.

For Disney Cruise Line fans, 7th October is now shaping up to be one of the biggest dates on the 2026 calendar.
