Guests visiting Walt Disney World at the end of August will want to double-check their evening plans, as Disney is set to adjust the performance times for two of its most popular nighttime spectaculars.

Both Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will begin earlier as daylight hours gradually shorten heading into autumn.

Happily Ever After will move from its current 10:00 pm start time to 9:30 pm beginning on 31st August. Disney’s calendar currently shows the revised time remaining in place through at least 19th September. As always, the fireworks spectacular will not be performed on evenings when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place, with party-exclusive entertainment replacing the regular nighttime offering.

Fantasmic! will also see a revised schedule slightly earlier in the month. Until 22nd August, the nighttime spectacular is scheduled daily at 9:00 pm, with an additional 10:30 pm performance on Fridays and selected Saturdays.

From 23rd August, the first performance will move to 8:30 pm each evening. On Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays, guests will continue to have a second showing, although this will also shift earlier to 10:00 pm. A further adjustment is planned from 18th September, when those later performances move to 9:30 pm.

These seasonal timetable changes are typical for Walt Disney World, with entertainment schedules often moving earlier as sunset arrives sooner later in the year. Visitors travelling during the autumn and winter months should expect further adjustments as Disney continues to align showtimes with daylight hours.
