Disney Unveils Complete D23 2026 Programme with Full Panel Schedule Across Five Stages

Disney has officially released the complete programme schedule for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, revealing every panel, presentation and stage for this summer’s highly anticipated fan convention.

The newly published schedule gives attendees their first comprehensive look at the three-day event, which takes place from 14th to 16th August 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. With hundreds of sessions now confirmed, guests can begin planning their itineraries ahead of the reservation process later this month.

As in previous years, D23 will feature a packed mix of presentations spanning every corner of The Walt Disney Company. From major announcements and exclusive previews to in-depth discussions with filmmakers, Imagineers and Disney historians, the weekend offers something for fans of Disney Parks, films, television, animation, music and collectibles.

Programming will be spread across five dedicated stages inside the Anaheim Convention Center, with sessions running throughout each day. Many presentations overlap, meaning attendees will need to carefully prioritise which experiences they hope to attend.

Alongside the daytime programme, each evening will feature one of D23’s headline presentations at the Honda Center.

Friday night begins with the Disney Entertainment Showcase, traditionally one of the convention’s most talked-about events. The presentation is expected to feature first looks at upcoming theatrical releases and Disney+ projects, appearances by filmmakers and cast members, exclusive footage and live performances celebrating Disney’s entertainment slate.

Saturday shifts the spotlight to Disney Experiences with the return of Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase. Hosted once again by Neil Patrick Harris, the presentation will offer a look at what’s next for Disney’s theme parks, cruise line, resorts and global experiences. Previous Horizons presentations have included attraction announcements, concept artwork and surprise reveals, making it one of the most anticipated events of the weekend for Disney Parks fans.

The convention concludes on Sunday evening with the Disney Legends Ceremony, where Disney honours individuals whose extraordinary contributions have shaped the company’s history. The ceremony has become one of D23’s signature traditions, combining emotional tributes with memorable performances and appearances from some of Disney’s biggest names.

Away from the evening spectaculars, the daytime schedule is filled with presentations covering a wide range of topics.

Walt Disney Imagineering features prominently once again, with multiple sessions exploring attraction design, storytelling and the creative process behind Disney destinations around the world. Fans can also expect behind-the-scenes discussions on current and classic attractions, along with opportunities to hear directly from the teams responsible for bringing Disney experiences to life.

Animation also plays a major role throughout the weekend. Panels dedicated to Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios will celebrate both new projects and beloved classics, with filmmakers and artists sharing insights into the development of some of Disney’s most iconic stories. Marvel, Lucasfilm and Disney Publishing are also represented across the programme, alongside sessions exploring visual development, filmmaking, comics and storytelling.

For Disney history enthusiasts, the schedule includes numerous presentations celebrating landmark anniversaries, rarely seen archive material and fascinating stories from throughout the company’s century-long history. The Walt Disney Archives will once again take centre stage for several presentations, offering fans an opportunity to learn more about the people, places and creative decisions that helped shape Disney.

Music, live entertainment and fan culture are also well represented throughout the convention. Returning favourites include live podcasts, author presentations, artist demonstrations, anniversary celebrations and interactive sessions covering everything from Disney music to collecting memorabilia. The Disney costume competition is also set to return, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of fans from around the world.

With hundreds of individual sessions taking place over three days, the release of the full schedule (scroll below) marks one of the most important milestones before the event itself. Guests can now compare timings, identify scheduling conflicts and prepare their wish lists before the reservation window opens.

Disney has confirmed that reservations for select presentations will once again be allocated through its Reservation Selection Process. Guests can submit their preferred sessions between 20th and 24th July, with successful reservations beginning to be distributed from 7th August. Standby queues will be available for many convention centre presentations, although entry is not guaranteed and capacity limits will apply.

While reservations help secure access to some of the most popular panels, many experiences throughout the convention remain open to all attendees on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring there will be plenty to explore across the weekend.

Disney has noted that presentation times, speakers and programme details remain subject to change, but the publication of the complete schedule gives fans their clearest picture yet of what promises to be one of the biggest D23 events to date.

The full programme is now available, allowing attendees to begin planning every hour of what is shaping up to be an action-packed weekend celebrating the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Disney Experiences.
