After years of fan speculation, Universal has officially announced that Hellraiser will make its long-awaited Halloween Horror Nights debut in 2026, bringing Clive Barker’s iconic horror franchise to both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood for the first time.

The all-new haunted house will be inspired by the original Hellraiser trilogy, allowing guests to step inside the terrifying world of the Cenobites as they encounter unforgettable moments from Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth.

According to Universal, guests will journey through some of the franchise’s most memorable locations after unlocking the infamous Lament Configuration. From Frank Cotton’s attic to the Channard Institute, visitors will find themselves trapped within a nightmarish labyrinth where Pinhead and the Cenobites await to deliver their own twisted version of pleasure and pain.

Making the announcement even more exciting for longtime fans, Doug Bradley, the original actor behind Pinhead, will reprise his legendary role by providing new voice work for both versions of the haunted house. While he won’t physically appear in the attraction, his unmistakable voice will help bring one of horror’s most iconic villains back to life in an authentic way.

Hellraiser marks one of the most requested horror properties in Halloween Horror Nights history, with the franchise finally joining Universal’s growing lineup of major horror licences. The announcement follows previous reveals including Stranger Things 5 and Sinners, further strengthening what is shaping up to be one of the event’s biggest years yet.

Universal has also revealed that exclusive Hellraiser merchandise will be available during the event, including a themed T-shirt and collectible items celebrating the franchise’s Horror Nights debut.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 begins on select nights from 28th August through to 1st November at Universal Orlando Resort, while Universal Studios Hollywood’s event starts on select nights from 3rd September. Additional haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
