Disneyland Paris is expanding its latest nighttime spectacular with a new addition that will bring even more movement and technology to the show. Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World is set to feature new fountain drones, adding a new water-based element to the already ambitious display.

The new technology introduces six fountain drones that operate on the water during the performance, working alongside the hundreds of aerial drones already used in the show. Unlike the flying drones that create images and patterns in the sky, these new units are designed to enhance the lake experience by adding choreographed water effects directly on Adventure Bay.

Disney Cascade of Lights debuted as the headline nighttime spectacular for Disney Adventure World, the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris. The show transforms Adventure Bay into a giant stage, combining drone choreography, water screen projections, fountains, fireworks and other special effects to tell a story featuring Disney and Pixar characters.

The addition of fountain drones continues Disneyland Paris’ focus on pushing the boundaries of nighttime entertainment. The park worked with technology partner Dronisos to develop new drone systems, including aerial drones designed to handle outdoor conditions and aquatic drones that can operate on the water.

Guests watching the show can expect the fountain drones to create a more immersive experience, with effects appearing both above and across the lake. The combination of sky-based formations and water-based movements allows the performance to use Adventure Bay as a complete visual canvas.

Disney Cascade of Lights is part of the wider transformation of Disney Adventure World, which introduced new areas and experiences including World of Frozen. The park’s expansion represents a major new chapter for Disneyland Paris, bringing more large-scale storytelling experiences to guests.

With the arrival of the fountain drones, Disney Cascade of Lights looks set to become an even more impressive nighttime attraction, blending traditional Disney spectacle with new-generation technology.
