Universal Epic Universe is preparing to light up the night sky with a brand-new nighttime spectacular, as Universal Celestial Goodnight is set to debut at the park on 7th July 2026. The new show will bring together fireworks, music, lighting effects and water features to create an evening finale for guests visiting Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park.
The show will take place in Celestial Park, the central hub of Universal Epic Universe, transforming the area into a large-scale nighttime celebration. Guests will experience choreographed fountains, immersive lighting effects and a fireworks finale designed to bring the park’s stories together after a day of attractions and entertainment.
Universal Celestial Goodnight has been created by Universal’s entertainment team and will celebrate the different worlds found throughout Epic Universe. The show will feature moments inspired by Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe.
The spectacular will make use of the technology already built into Celestial Park, including nearly 600 synchronised light fixtures, more than 350 fountains and millions of LED lights integrated throughout the area. These elements will combine with a musical soundtrack and visual effects before leading into the fireworks finale.
Since opening, Epic Universe has offered limited fireworks opportunities, making the announcement of a regular nighttime show a significant addition for visitors. Universal Celestial Goodnight will run nightly from 7th July, with timings expected to follow park closing hours and remain subject to change.
The new production joins Universal Orlando Resort’s growing collection of nighttime entertainment experiences, adding another reason for guests to stay inside Epic Universe until the end of the day. With its combination of familiar characters, immersive environments and a large-scale finale, Universal Celestial Goodnight is set to become a key part of the Epic Universe experience.
