Disney Confirms Return of “Frozen Holiday Surprise” and “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” for Holiday 2026

Disney has confirmed that two fan-favourite entertainment offerings, “Frozen Holiday Surprise” and “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” will return to Magic Kingdom for the 2026 holiday season as part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

The announcement comes through newly released casting notices, signalling that preparations are already underway for another festive season at Walt Disney World Resort. The returning shows have become major highlights of the Christmas celebrations at Magic Kingdom and are expected to once again draw large crowds throughout the holiday period.

“Frozen Holiday Surprise” will continue to light up Cinderella Castle with a dazzling winter-themed transformation featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff from Disney’s Frozen franchise. The nighttime spectacular debuted in 2023, replacing the long-running “A Frozen Holiday Wish” castle lighting ceremony with a refreshed production that combines projection effects, lighting and holiday music.

Guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 2026 can also expect the return of “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” the high-energy castle stage show hosted by Mickey Mouse and friends. The production blends festive songs, dancing and appearances from popular Disney characters, making it one of the signature entertainment experiences during the separately ticketed event.

While Disney has not yet announced official dates or ticket pricing for the 2026 party season, the early confirmation of entertainment offerings strongly suggests the event will follow a similar format to recent years. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party typically runs on select nights from early November through late December and includes exclusive entertainment, character meet-and-greets, complimentary seasonal treats and special holiday overlays across the park.

Previous editions of the event have featured multiple nightly performances of both “Frozen Holiday Surprise” and “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” giving guests several opportunities to experience the entertainment during a single party evening.

The return of these productions reinforces Disney’s ongoing investment in holiday entertainment at Magic Kingdom. Alongside favourites such as “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” the 2026 holiday season is already shaping up to deliver another packed lineup of festive offerings for Walt Disney World visitors.
