Traditionally reserved for parks like Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, this special evening extension is noteworthy simply because Animal Kingdom doesn’t usually offer it.
Extended Evening Hours is a perk granted exclusively to guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and certain partner hotels. These guests are able to stay inside selected theme parks for two hours beyond the park’s official closing time on specific dates. In this case, Animal Kingdom will stay open from 6 pm until 8 pm, allowing eligible visitors to enjoy attractions with far lighter crowds than daytime operations.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom usually wraps up earlier than the other parks due to its unique mix of live animal exhibits and attractions.
