Tokyo DisneySea is gearing up for a milestone year. In 2026 the world’s only sea-themed Disney park will mark 25 years since it first opened its gates, and the resort has teased a dazzling lineup of entertainment, themed food and drink, exclusive merchandise and immersive experiences designed to enchant visitors from 15th April 2026 all the way through to 31st March 2027 — part of the park’s anniversary celebration dubbed the “Sparkling Jubilee.”

At its core, the Sparkling Jubilee draws its inspiration from the boundless ocean that defines DisneySea’s unique identity. The signature colour of the celebration is Jubilee Blue — a vibrant hue reflecting sunlit seas — and it will feature prominently across decorations, nightly lighting effects and themed atmospheres throughout the park.

One of the centrepieces of the anniversary entertainment is “Dance the Globe!”, a brand-new stage show scheduled to premiere on 14th January 2026 ahead of the official anniversary launch. Set in Waterfront Park in the American Waterfront area, the show celebrates a global tapestry of dance and music, with appearances by familiar Disney characters including Mickey Mouse and friends, Rapunzel from Tangled, Hiro from Big Hero 6, and Mirabel from Encanto. As part of the anniversary period, these characters will wear exclusive Jubilee Blue costumes during the show’s finale.

During the main anniversary period, guests can also enjoy the “Sparkling Jubilee Celebration” on Mediterranean Harbour. Here, Disney friends will set sail on a specially decorated barge, bringing festive energy to the waterfront with performances running multiple times a day. As night falls, “Sparkling Jubilee Night” will illuminate the harbour with projection mapping shows and themed music, creating a shimmering nocturnal spectacle.

Throughout the park, Jubilee Blue décor will transform familiar spaces into celebratory environments. From the DisneySea AquaSphere at the entrance to lighting effects around Passaggio MiraCosta and Arabian Coast, every corner of DisneySea is being prepared to reflect the year-long jubilee spirit.

Food lovers will find plenty to savour as well. Special menu items and festival offerings, including treats and drinks that tie into the anniversary theme, will be available during select periods, with a Food & Wine Festival running from 15th April to 30th June 2026 as part of the celebration.

Merchandise is always a highlight at Disney anniversaries, and the 25th will be no exception. From 8th April 2026, guests can purchase themed goods adorned in Jubilee Blue, featuring exclusive items such as pens, stickers and wearables designed to commemorate the occasion. A special “Jubilee Badge” with customisable ribbons and charms is among the standout offerings, and a unique Duffy & Friends collection — beloved by fans — will debut around 14th April.

With this ambitious celebration, Tokyo DisneySea is not simply marking a quarter century of memories; it’s promising a year of fresh experiences, creative entertainment and vibrant storytelling that honours the park’s deep connection to sea and imagination.
