Disney’s classic parachute-style ride Jumpin’ Jellyfish at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim is set to take a seasonal break for refurbishment this winter. The family-friendly attraction in Paradise Gardens Park will close on Monday 23rd February 2026, with the last day to ride being Sunday 22nd February. At present there’s no official reopening date, as Disney’s calendar only extends through Tuesday 3rd March and no hours are listed for the ride beyond that point.

Jumpin’ Jellyfish isn’t a high-speed thrill ride: it’s a gentle parachute-like experience where riders “bounce” up and down to around 40 feet in colourful jellyfish-shaped vehicles, designed especially for younger guests meeting the minimum height requirement. The ride’s name and theme draw inspiration from an enthusiastic line in The Little Mermaid.

This closure comes as part of the resort’s broader winter maintenance season, when several rides at Disneyland Resort traditionally take scheduled downtime for upkeep and safety checks. While attractions such as Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and Incredicoaster have had brief seasonal closures earlier in 2026, Jumpin’ Jellyfish will remain offline longer, and Disney has yet to share details about the scope of the refurbishment work.

For guests planning visits around late February and early March, this means building in a bit of extra flexibility, especially for families with little ones who had hoped to take a spin on this whimsical drop ride.
