The eagerly anticipated new themed land World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris has officially set its opening date for 29th March 2026. On the very same day, the park that was previously known as Walt Disney Studios Park, will be renamed Disney Adventure World.

What to Expect from World of Frozen?

Some of the headline features of the new area are:

• Immersive Setting – Guests will enter the world of Arendelle – complete with the towering “North Mountain” which is crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace, Nordic-inspired village architecture, a village square and bay area.
• New Ride – Frozen Ever After – This family-friendly boat ride that takes visitors through scenes inspired from the film using advanced Audio-Animatronics and project mapping.
• Characters! – You will be able to meet the sisters, Anna and Elsa for a personalised photo moment. Additional character interactions will be scattered around the village, include a walking, talking Olaf!
• Dining and Shopping – There are two new dining and shopping locations, a quick service restaurant and Arendelle Boutique for all your Merch needs!

Bigger Park – Park Overhaul

The transformation of Disneyland Paris’ second gate is part of a multi-year, multi-billion-euro investment to “reimagine more than 90% of the second park’s offerings”. Alongside World of Frozen, guests will also be able to find a new promenade called Adventure Way with lush gardens, live entertainment and 14 new dining locations.

A new lake area – Adventure Bay – where the nighttime show will take place and there are future upcoming lands such as a new The Lion King attraction and an Up! attraction which are both expected after 2026.

Planning Tips

Since this is a major new land, the following weeks are likely to be busy, so plan ahead! If you can stay on site might be best as this may give your “Extra Magic Hours” and other perks.

If possible consider some off-peak days as these may be slightly quieter than weekends. Pre-planning on what you want to see at Disneyland Paris will be important too.
