Fans of the Upside Down will once again have the chance to face their fears as Stranger Things returns to Halloween Horror Nights in 2026. Universal has officially announced that the hit Netflix series will inspire a brand-new haunted house experience at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The upcoming attraction will mark the latest collaboration between Universal and Netflix, bringing guests back into the world of Hawkins for an all-new terrifying adventure. Stranger Things has previously appeared at Halloween Horror Nights in 2018, 2019, and 2023, becoming one of the event’s most recognisable properties.
This time, the haunted house will focus on the final season of the series, placing guests in the middle of the ultimate fight against the supernatural forces threatening Hawkins. Visitors will step through familiar locations from the show, including the Wheeler House, Hawkins National Laboratory, the MAC-Z military base, the Upside Down, and the mysterious Abyss.
Throughout the experience, guests will encounter terrifying creatures from the Stranger Things universe, including Demogorgons, while facing off against the series’ powerful villain Vecna. The attraction promises to blend the cinematic storytelling of the show with the intense scares and immersive environments that Halloween Horror Nights is known for.
The return of Stranger Things comes as Halloween Horror Nights continues to expand its lineup for 2026. The annual event will begin on select nights from 28th August at Universal Orlando and from 3rd September at Universal Studios Hollywood.
