Construction continues to advance on the future Up-inspired attraction coming to Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, with new progress showing the project’s building structure, roof, and exterior details beginning to take shape.

The attraction, currently named Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, is being built along Adventure Way, the promenade connecting guests towards Adventure Bay. Inspired by Pixar’s Up, the new experience will feature a swing-style ride and is expected to become one of the family-focused additions to the expanding area.

Recent construction images show a major change from earlier stages of work. The main structure is now much more visible, with scaffolding surrounding large sections of the building and roof work progressing across the site. The attraction has moved beyond foundations and initial structural work, with the overall footprint becoming easier to recognise.

One of the biggest updates is the installation of the roof framework. Wooden decking now covers a large portion of the building, giving guests a clearer idea of the attraction’s eventual shape. The roofline, combined with the surrounding architectural elements, is helping define the look of the future ride building.

Façade work is also underway, with crews working on exterior walls and protective coverings appearing around parts of the structure. Several rounded architectural features, including dome-like elements, have been added above sections of the building. While these details remain partially covered during construction, they appear to be important elements of the final themed design.

The construction zone has also expanded along Adventure Way, allowing teams more space to continue work. Temporary walls around the site feature Disney Adventure World-themed decorations, including references to nearby areas such as World of Frozen and Pixar.

The Up attraction is part of the wider transformation of Disneyland Paris’ second gate into Disney Adventure World. The reimagined park includes new areas such as World of Frozen and Adventure Way, with additional future projects planned, including a Lion King-themed land.

Once complete, Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings will bring the world of Up to the park for the first time, adding another Pixar-inspired experience to the growing line-up. The attraction is currently expected to open in 2027.
