Annual Passholders hoping to celebrate Independence Day at Magic Kingdom will now face limited options, as reservations for the park on 4th July 2026 have reached capacity.

The popular holiday date has become unavailable for Annual Passholders through the Walt Disney World reservation system, meaning Passholders can no longer select Magic Kingdom as their starting park for the day.

The news comes as no surprise for one of the busiest days of the year at Walt Disney World. The 4th July celebration at Magic Kingdom is traditionally among the most popular events on the calendar, with guests drawn to the patriotic entertainment, special atmosphere, and fireworks spectacular over Cinderella Castle. Previous Independence Day celebrations have also seen Magic Kingdom reach capacity across different ticket types due to high demand.

Although Annual Passholder reservations for Magic Kingdom are full, other options may still be available. Passholders can continue to check the reservation calendar in case spaces reopen through cancellations or additional availability being released.

Guests with reservations at another Walt Disney World theme park may also have the option to use Park Hopper benefits and attempt to visit Magic Kingdom later in the day, although entry remains subject to park capacity restrictions. Similar situations during other high-demand dates have seen Passholders rely on park hopping or wait for reservations to become available again.

The 4th July holiday remains one of the biggest annual celebrations at Walt Disney World, and Magic Kingdom’s combination of classic attractions, patriotic entertainment, and nighttime fireworks continues to attract large crowds. Passholders planning to visit are encouraged to keep monitoring availability as the date approaches.
