Disney Enchanted Star Hotel Named as 3rd Shanghai Disney Resort Hotel

Shanghai Disney Resort has officially revealed the name of its highly anticipated third hotel, introducing the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel as the newest addition to the destination’s growing lineup of themed accommodations. The announcement was made during celebrations for Shanghai Disney Resort’s 10th anniversary.

The new hotel, which first broke ground on 31st August 2023, will bring a new style of Disney accommodation to the resort. Inspired by the legendary Wishing Star, the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will feature Art Nouveau-inspired design elements that pay tribute to Shanghai’s early 20th-century architectural heritage.

Located near Wishing Star Lake, the hotel is expected to offer scenic views of Shanghai Disneyland, creating another immersive option for guests looking to extend their stays beyond a single day at the park. The resort has described the project as part of its continued effort to create a multi-day destination experience.

With 400 rooms, the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will become the smallest of Shanghai Disney Resort’s current hotels. It will join the existing Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, which has 420 rooms, and Toy Story Hotel, which has 795 rooms.

Concept art for the hotel showcases a design that blends Disney storytelling with Shanghai-inspired influences. The property is planned to offer family-focused experiences, along with indoor and outdoor recreational areas designed for resort guests.

The opening of Disney Enchanted Star Hotel is currently expected in winter 2027. It will also be part of a wider expansion of Shanghai Disney Resort’s hotel offerings, with a fourth Disney-themed hotel previously announced as another upcoming addition to the resort.

As Shanghai Disney Resort continues to expand, the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel represents another step in transforming the destination into a larger, multi-day holiday experience for visitors from around the world.
