The 2027 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend was originally listed for 15th to 18th April 2027, but the event has now shifted earlier and will take place from 8th to 11th April 2027. The change means participants will need to update travel plans, hotel reservations, and training schedules if they were preparing for the earlier dates.

Springtime Surprise Weekend has become one of the most popular events in the runDisney calendar, offering a mix of shorter races and challenges for Disney fans. The weekend typically includes a 5K, 10K, 10-Miler, and the Springtime Surprise Challenge, which combines multiple races for runners looking for a bigger goal.

The event is known for changing themes each year, with recent editions celebrating Disney characters and stories through race medals, entertainment, and on-course experiences.
