Tokyo Disney Resort has unveiled a brand-new edition of its popular “Imagining the Magic” photography project to celebrate Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary, bringing an exclusive collection of artwork, merchandise, hotel experiences and commemorative souvenirs to guests later this year.

Created in collaboration with acclaimed Japanese photographer Masashi Asada, the project captures Mickey Mouse and friends in a series of specially staged photographs throughout Tokyo DisneySea. The collection highlights the park’s anniversary theme, “Embark on a Sparkling Adventure!”, with images featuring iconic locations such as the AquaSphere alongside candid and creative character portraits.

The photography will appear across a wide range of limited-edition merchandise, with releases arriving in three separate waves beginning in October. Guests can expect practical accessories, photography-inspired items and additional products showcasing characters in their anniversary costumes as the celebration continues into early 2027.

Fans staying at Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel: Wish will also have the opportunity to book special “Imagining the Magic” themed rooms from 1st October 2026 through 31st March 2027. Three unique room designs will feature exclusive wallpaper created from Asada’s photography, while guests will receive commemorative postcards that change during the offering period.

The celebration extends beyond the parks with free photography exhibitions planned in both Osaka and Tokyo. Alongside the featured images, visitors will be able to view exclusive displays, preview selected merchandise before its release and enjoy themed photo opportunities inspired by the anniversary project.

Commemorative Disney Resort Line day passes featuring the anniversary photography will also be introduced, giving visitors another way to celebrate the milestone during their trip.

The “Imagining the Magic” project forms part of Tokyo DisneySea’s year-long 25th anniversary celebration, “Sparkling Jubilee”, which runs until 31st March 2027 and includes exclusive entertainment, seasonal merchandise, special hotel offerings and limited-time experiences throughout the resort.
