Halloween Horror Nights 2026 is bringing plenty of new scares to Universal Studios Hollywood, but the haunted houses and scare zones are only part of the experience.

For guests who like to plan their night around what they are going to eat, Universal has put together one of the most varied Halloween Horror Nights food lineups yet. The 2026 menu draws inspiration from several of this year’s biggest horror and entertainment properties, while also introducing some returning favourites and entirely new concepts.

The event runs on select nights from 3rd September through 1st November 2026, and the food and merchandise offerings will give guests plenty of opportunities to take a break from the scares while still staying firmly in the Halloween Horror Nights atmosphere.

A Halloween Horror Nights menu with plenty of variety

One of the biggest themes running through this year’s Hollywood food lineup is variety.

Rather than relying solely on novelty dishes, Universal is offering everything from substantial meals and oversized hot dogs to desserts, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and easy-to-carry snacks.

Several of the offerings are directly connected to this year’s haunted houses and entertainment properties, including Stranger Things, Sinners, Ozzy Osbourne, Fortnite and Art the Clown.

There is also a particularly fun first for Halloween Horror Nights, with Springfield getting its own Halloween overlay inspired by The Simpsons’ long-running Treehouse of Horror specials.

Treehouse of Horror comes to Springfield

For the first time at Halloween Horror Nights, Springfield is joining the event’s food lineup.

The new Treehouse of Horror offerings will be available at select Springfield restaurants on the Upper Lot and take inspiration from the classic Halloween episodes of The Simpsons.

Among the options are Sloppy D’oh, featuring ground beef in a tangy tomato chilli sauce topped with Fritos, and Brat. Ever!, a bratwurst served in a pretzel roll with Duff cheese sauce and sauerkraut.

There is also Road Scrapin’s, which combines fries with white country gravy, cheese, fried chicken and crispy onions.

For something sweeter, guests can look for the Pumpkin Spice Cold Boo, a cold brew topped with pumpkin spice pink vanilla cold foam and a doughnut hole, as well as the Mmm…Forbidden Pumpkin Donut, a vanilla doughnut finished with pumpkin spice icing and sprinkles.

Stranger Things takes over Studio Café

After Five Nights at Freddy’s proved popular at Studio Café in 2025, Stranger Things is taking over the location for 2026.

Surfer Boy Pizza returns as part of the theme, with both cheese and pepperoni personal pizzas available in themed packaging.

The menu also includes the Hellfire Club Spicy Italian Sandwich, packed with turkey, salami, pepperoni, provolone, banana peppers, red onion, lettuce and Calabrian chilli aioli.

For dessert, Steve’s Smuggled Peanut Butter Bites combine chocolate-coated creamy peanut butter with chopped peanuts and chocolate chips.

For fans of Stranger Things, the themed pizza boxes alone could make Studio Café worth a visit during the evening.

Sinners brings one of the strongest food lineups

The Sinners-inspired offerings are among the highlights of this year’s menu.

At City Snacks, guests can find Remmick’s Burnt Ends, featuring pork burnt ends in a black garlic whiskey BBQ sauce with jalapeño cornbread.

There is also “Pick Poor Robin Clean”, chicken wings coated in the same black garlic whiskey BBQ sauce and served with jalapeño cornbread.

For dessert, the Pecan and Whiskey Bread Pudding combines warm brown sugar pecan bread pudding with whiskey butterscotch sauce and flaky salt.

The Sinners theme also extends to Mulligan’s Bar, which becomes Sinners’ Club Juke during the event. The bar features a selection of themed cocktails, including Prohibition Punch, Juke Juice and the I Lied to You, I Love the Blues-berry cocktail, alongside a non-alcoholic version.

Ozzy Osbourne gets his own Halloween Horror Nights menu

Ozzy Osbourne is returning to Halloween Horror Nights after a 13-year absence, and the legendary musician is getting his own food and drink location.

Ozzy’s Bar, located above Jurassic Outfitters, features a menu packed with music-inspired names.

Bark at the Naan is a naan taco filled with chicken tikka masala, red cabbage, diced pineapple, lime crema and cilantro.

The Crazy Train Chickpea Curry Burrito offers a lighter plant-based option, combining coconut chickpea curry with tomato, pineapple chutney, red cabbage and lime crema.

For dessert, The Prince of Darkness Cake is a carrot cake with cream cheese mousse, black ganache and chocolate mousse, topped with a chocolate bat.

The drinks continue the Ozzy theme with names including Crowley’s Curse, Bark at the Moon Mule, Ultimate Sin-amon and Blizzard of Ozz-arita.

Art the Clown takes over the Clown Café

Art the Clown is getting a major presence at Halloween Horror Nights 2026, including his own food venue on the Lower Lot.

The Clown Café features the Death by Cheese Stick, a giant fried mozzarella stick covered in crushed Ruffles and served with spicy marinara.

There is also Bloodbath Brisket Fries, topped with brisket, BBQ sauce, jalapeño ranch, crispy onion and green onions.

Those looking for a vegetarian option can try the Clown Café Cauliflower Bites, featuring spicy fried cauliflower with Flamin’ Hot Cheeto sauce and Fritos chips.

For dessert, Gut Wound is a chocolate raspberry croissant pull-apart.

Art’s influence continues at Art the Clown’s Tinsel Bar near the Animation Studio Store, where drinks such as Silent Night Slasher, Mistletoe Massacre and Frosty Fright give the location a twisted Christmas theme.

Evil Dead and Hellraiser bring more horror to the menu

The food options aren’t restricted to the biggest headline properties.

At Evil Dead Burn, guests can pick up the Severed & Smoked Chicken, a smoked chicken quarter served with Sichuan chilli crisp.

Nearby, Killer Snacks offers Skin & Chips Nachos, made with spicy pork rinds, Tostitos nacho cheese sauce and Jack Links beef jerky.

For dessert, Open the Box features sinisterly sour doughnut bites filled with blue raspberry filling.

Fortnite comes to Halloween Horror Nights

Fortnite is making its presence felt through a colourful and oversized selection of food and drinks at Tower Snacks featuring Fortnitemares.

The Battle Bus Dog is arguably the most eye-catching option. The enormous 22-inch all-beef hot dog is topped with nacho cheese sauce, coleslaw, Sriracha aioli, banana peppers and crushed Hot Cheetos.

The Final Peel takes a sweeter approach, with a green vanilla whoopie pie filled with banana caramel buttercream, salted toffee sauce and salted caramel crisp pearls.

Guests can also pick up a Zero-Point Pretzel or the brightly coloured Slurp Juice.

Día de los Muertos returns

Día de los Muertos in Universal Plaza continues to offer some of the more familiar flavours of Halloween Horror Nights.

The menu includes Beef Birria Tacos, Salsa Verde Walking Taco, Esquites and pineapple spears with Tajín and chamoy.

There is also a sizeable selection of margaritas and cocktails, including La Siguanaba Spicy Margarita, El Cadejo Mangorita, Muerte Michelada, Pepino Margarita and Piña Margarita.

Over on the Lower Lot, Studio Scoops is also getting a special Hello Kitty Chucky dessert. The Hello Kitty Chucky Strawberry Cheesecake Sundae combines vanilla soft serve with strawberry swirl, strawberry topping and cheesecake pieces, finished with a chocolate bow.

A Chocolate Raspberry Bloody Cookie is also available at various locations around the event.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 merchandise

The food isn’t the only reason to leave some room in your budget.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 also features a large merchandise collection, including the return of Hamikuma, which has become an unofficial mascot of the Halloween season.

Guests can expect items ranging from popcorn buckets and handbags to spirit jerseys and scrunchies, making it possible to build an entire Halloween Horror Nights outfit around the event.

With so many major properties represented at this year’s event, the merchandise collection should also give fans plenty of opportunities to pick up something tied to their favourite franchise.

What should you try first?

If you’re trying to maximise your time at Halloween Horror Nights, it is worth deciding in advance which food locations you want to visit.

The Sinners menu stands out for guests looking for something closer to a full meal, while the Ozzy’s Bar offerings provide some of the more unusual combinations.

For something easy to share, the oversized Battle Bus Dog is an obvious choice, although the combination of Sriracha aioli, banana peppers and Hot Cheetos is not for anyone looking for a mild snack.

The Clown Café is another strong option for sharing, particularly the Death by Cheese Stick and Bloodbath Brisket Fries.

And if dessert is the priority, the Prince of Darkness Cake, Pecan and Whiskey Bread Pudding and Steve’s Smuggled Peanut Butter Bites are among the offerings worth putting on your list.
