Walt Disney World has officially announced that Annual Passholders will be among the first guests to experience the upcoming Soarin’ Across America attraction at EPCOT, with exclusive preview opportunities scheduled for 19th and 20th May 2026.

The previews arrive just days ahead of the attraction’s full public debut on 26th May, giving loyal guests an early look at Disney’s latest update to one of EPCOT’s most iconic experiences.

How the previews will work

Unlike some previous preview events, Disney is keeping things relatively simple. Annual Passholders will be able to access the attraction by joining the regular standby queue during normal park operating hours. There is no confirmed requirement for advance registration or virtual queue access, although details may vary as the dates approach.

As with similar limited-time offerings, availability is expected to be high in demand, and wait times could be significant across both preview days.

A new flight across the United States

Soarin’ Across America is a refreshed version of the long-running Soarin’ attraction, replacing Soarin’ Around the World for a limited-time engagement. The new film will take guests on a sweeping aerial journey across the United States, showcasing iconic landscapes and cityscapes from coast to coast.

The update is part of Disney’s broader celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, bringing a patriotic theme to the attraction while maintaining its signature combination of motion simulation, immersive visuals, and environmental effects.

Transition at EPCOT

To prepare for the new experience, Soarin’ Around the World is scheduled to close on 14th May, with 13th May marking its final day of operation.

Following a brief refurbishment period, the updated attraction will reopen as Soarin’ Across America on 26th May, with the Passholder previews serving as a soft launch ahead of the official opening.
