Disneyland Resort Souvenir for Magic Key Holders

Disneyland Resort is giving its Magic Key holders yet another exclusive perk—this time in the form of a nostalgic collectible tied to one of its most beloved attractions.

According to a recent report, guests with a valid Magic Key pass will soon have the opportunity to receive a complimentary “opening day” poster for Soarin’ Over California, but only for a limited time in April 2026.

A special souvenir for dedicated fans

The giveaway is part of a wider celebration marking the 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure. To take part, Magic Key holders must first participate in a themed park activity known as the Disney California Adventure “Map Activity,” which launched on 13th March 2026.

This experience functions as a self-guided scavenger hunt, encouraging guests to explore attractions and hidden details throughout the park. After completing the activity, participants can claim a limited-edition poster inspired by the original opening-day version of Soarin’ Over California.

When and where to get the poster

While the map activity began in March, the poster itself will only be available between 7th April and 17th April 2026. Distribution will take place near the Soarin’ Over California attraction, specifically outside the ride beneath the watchtower structure.

Collection times are structured to accommodate different visiting schedules:

  • Weekdays: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Weekends: 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Each Magic Key holder is limited to one poster, and a valid pass must be presented to receive it. Supplies are also limited, meaning availability is not guaranteed throughout the full promotional period.

A nod to a fan-favourite attraction

The promotion ties into the seasonal return of Soarin’ Over California, a fan-favourite version of the flight simulator ride that originally debuted with the park in 2001. The attraction temporarily replaced Soarin’ Around the World earlier in 2026 and is expected to remain until early July, when a new iteration, Soarin’ Across America, is scheduled to debut on 2nd July 2026.

Why this matters

Disneyland’s Magic Key programme often includes exclusive merchandise and experiences, but limited-edition items like this poster tend to generate strong interest among collectors and long-time fans. By tying the giveaway to an interactive park activity, Disney is also encouraging deeper engagement with the park during its anniversary celebrations.

For Magic Key holders planning a visit in April, this promotion offers both a nostalgic tribute and a tangible keepsake—provided they act quickly before supplies run out.
