Bluey’s Wild World Opening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Walt Disney World has officially revealed the opening date for a brand-new family experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Bluey’s Wild World. The interactive attraction, inspired by the hugely popular animated series Bluey, will open on 26th May 2026 at Conservation Station in Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

The announcement marks the first major Bluey-themed experience at Walt Disney World and signals Disney’s continued effort to bring popular children’s characters into immersive park environments.

A New Adventure for Bluey Fans

Bluey’s Wild World will give guests the opportunity to step into the playful universe of Bluey and her younger sister Bingo. The experience is designed to be highly interactive, allowing families to play games inspired by episodes of the show, dance along with the characters, and meet the beloved Heeler sisters in person.

Rather than functioning as a simple meet-and-greet, the attraction aims to combine storytelling, physical activity, and animal education. Visitors will be able to participate in games with an animal-themed twist and take photos with the characters, creating a lively environment tailored especially for younger guests.

One of the activities confirmed so far is “Keepy Uppy,” a well-known game from the show that has been adapted into a playful group activity within the experience.

Located at Conservation Station

The new experience will take place at Conservation Station, located in the Rafiki’s Planet Watch area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests will reach the location by boarding the Wildlife Express Train from the Africa section of the park.

This area has traditionally focused on animal care and education, making it an unusual but fitting location for the attraction. Disney appears to be blending the playful world of Bluey with the park’s conservation message by highlighting animals native to Australia, the home country of Bluey and her family.

As part of the experience, guests will also be able to explore “Jumping Junction,” an outdoor area featuring animals from Australia, reinforcing the connection between the show’s setting and Animal Kingdom’s wildlife themes.

Part of Cool Kids’ Summer 2026

Bluey’s Wild World will debut just in time for the start of Walt Disney World’s “Cool Kids’ Summer” event on 26th May 2026. While the attraction launches alongside the seasonal celebration, Disney has confirmed that it will remain available beyond the summer programme, suggesting a longer-term addition to the park’s offerings.

The timing positions Bluey as one of the marquee characters for the resort’s summer entertainment lineup, reflecting the global popularity of the television series among families with young children.

A Strategic Addition to Animal Kingdom

The introduction of Bluey’s Wild World may also help draw more visitors to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, an area of Animal Kingdom that historically receives lighter crowds due to its separate train access. By introducing a major character-driven attraction there, Disney appears to be encouraging guests to explore a part of the park that many skip.

With the combination of character interaction, interactive games, and educational animal exhibits, Bluey’s Wild World aims to blend entertainment with the conservation themes that define Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

When the attraction opens on 26th May 2026, families visiting the park will be able to join Bluey and Bingo for games, dancing, and a playful introduction to wildlife from Australia—turning a beloved television series into a real-world adventure.

The curious thing about theme parks is that they behave like ecosystems: characters migrate, attractions evolve, and quiet corners suddenly become bustling habitats. Bluey landing in a conservation outpost is a neat little example of that strange symbiosis between storytelling and space design—cartoon pups guiding visitors toward real animals. In a park built around the idea that humans and wildlife share one planet, that blend of fiction and biology feels oddly appropriate.
