World of Frozen at DLP Updates, including New Merchandise for Disney Adventure World

Disneyland Paris is preparing for a major transformation later this month as Walt Disney Studios Park becomes Disney Adventure World on 29th March 2026. Alongside the debut of the highly anticipated World of Frozen land, new experiences, merchandise, and immersive storytelling details are already emerging across the resort. Recent previews highlight everything from cast member celebrations and themed retail to character dining and hidden design elements.

Welcoming Ceremony

One of the most heartwarming milestones ahead of the land’s opening was a special ceremony welcoming the cast members who will portray the villagers of Arendelle. More than 350 cast members were selected for these roles and gathered inside the new land for a celebration marking their introduction to the kingdom. Wearing their Arendelle-inspired costumes, they formed a procession and crossed the bridge into the village before gathering at the Friendship Fountain. There, the group sang the iconic “Vuelie” theme from Frozen together, creating a ceremonial moment that reflected the spirit of the story.

During the celebration, the cast members met several notable figures connected to the resort and the story of Frozen. Queen Anna and Queen Elsa were present alongside royal emissary Fredrik, Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski, and the 2026–2027 Disney Ambassadors Mónica and Agathe. Each cast member was presented with a special World of Frozen nametag, symbolising their role as official villagers of Arendelle. The selected participants began their training last summer and later attended Disney University sessions where they learned about the fictional kingdom’s history, legends, and traditions to better bring the land’s story to life for guests.

Character Dining

Another new experience debuting with the park’s transformation is the Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, which will become the first character dining restaurant in Disney Adventure World. Guests dining at the venue will have the chance to meet several Disney Princesses, including Aurora, Ariel, Mulan, and Belle. In a unique twist, the princesses will appear in casual “villager” style outfits rather than their traditional royal gowns. These detailed costumes reflect the narrative concept that the restaurant serves as a relaxing retreat where princesses from nearby lands gather together.

The restaurant is part of the broader Adventure Way area and will overlook Adventure Bay, the central lake of the reimagined park. This area will connect guests to the new themed lands, including World of Frozen, while providing dining, gardens, and new attractions as part of the park’s ongoing expansion.

New Merchandise

Ahead of the park’s rebranding, Disneyland Paris has also begun releasing new merchandise celebrating Disney Adventure World. The collection, currently available at the Walt Disney Studios Store and Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, gives guests an early look at the visual identity of the future park. Items in the line include a blue hooded sweatshirt featuring the Disney Adventure World logo and park-themed graphics on the sleeve, a varsity-style jacket with the logo across the back, and a matching black hat decorated with a compass motif. A plush Mickey Mouse dressed in themed park attire is also part of the collection, tying the merchandise to the adventurous spirit that the new park aims to embody.

Hidden Details around Arendelle

Meanwhile, inside World of Frozen itself, Imagineers have filled the land with subtle details designed to immerse guests in the world of Arendelle. One example can be found inside the Arendelle Boutique, where decorative props and handcrafted elements reveal layers of storytelling. The shop features wooden figures of Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, as well as a replica of Arendelle Castle displayed among artisan objects. Another decorative piece includes a tin soldier statue referencing Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Steadfast Tin Soldier.” Andersen also wrote “The Snow Queen,” the fairy tale that partially inspired the character of Elsa.

Additional touches include a mural of toys accompanied by a playful nursery rhyme and hand-painted accessories designed using Arendelle’s colour palette and motifs. Some props were crafted by Walt Disney Imagineering in Paris, while others were sourced second-hand to give the boutique an authentic, handcrafted feel. According to the designers, each item was carefully painted and styled to support the storytelling and fully immerse guests in the kingdom’s culture.

Together, these previews highlight how Disney Adventure World is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious expansions in Disneyland Paris history. With immersive environments, character interactions, themed dining, and intricate design details, the transformation aims to deepen storytelling throughout the park when it officially opens to guests on 29th March 2026.

As the opening approaches, the new land and park-wide changes are expected to bring a fresh chapter of Disney magic to the resort, inviting visitors to explore everything from the snowy kingdom of Arendelle to the adventure-filled worlds beyond.
